Select Security Group Ltd has become a registered installer with Paxton Access, the leading manufacturer of access control equipment.

This new accreditation bolsters Select’s reputation within the security installation industry as they seek to become the most professional and customer focused installer within Northern Ireland.

Already Select have put their new status to work with a major installation for SISK Construction at one of their largest projects in Northern Ireland. This involved providing a system for over 600 user’s onsite including turnstiles and automated barrier systems.

Andrew McQuillan, Director, commented “We have been using Paxton Access to control our employees at sites since the summer and found the software to be very user friendly and the system in general has been fault free despite attempted vandalism at one of the sites a Paxton controlled door.

We decided that now was the time to develop our Access Control service provision to clients as we have been providing CCTV systems for several years now and wish to expand our market share within Northern Ireland.

Working with our current staff we were able to develop an internal training package to assist our installers who previously mainly dealt with our CCTV installations. This has allowed us to achieve a very high level of professional competence and excellence in a short period and we have taken the decision to now roll out our Access Control services as we can guarantee we retain our level of quality.”
