News - New NVQ Training For Select Staff

Select Security Group Ltd are pleased to announce that NCFE have approved the company for delivery of the NVQ suite in Spectator Safety.

Previously these were out soured but Select took the decision to provide these qualifications in house as there was a significant cost saving. This saving has now been put into good use expanding the Training Department and to purchase additional resources to progress the range of training courses available.

Select already train all staff to achieve their NCFE Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (previously NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Stewarding) and these additional NVQs offer staff the opportunity to further their career within Event Security and Crowd Safety Management through industry recognised qualifications.

Roy Semple, Operations Manager and Head of Training, said: “Select was started back in 2006 to provide only professional, qualified and dedicated Event Steward to events across the UK and Ireland. We achieve this by putting our staff through numerous qualifications and are constantly expanding the range of qualifications available to staff at all levels. The NCFE NVQ’s are the bench mark standard within the industry and we are absolutely delighted to be able to offer these qualifications to even more staff within the company.”
