Specialist Security
Some clients require Specialist Security support where the risk to their property or staff is particularly high. We have worked with clients who have high value equipment onsite, have been the subject of regular burglary or attack, or have been at risk from groups threatening to invade or camp out on their site.
Our Specialist Security Service is staffed by Response Teams: Security Officers hand-picked for their ability to deal with conflict on a regular basis. They are trained to well above the standards for Security Officers set by the British Standards Institute, Skills for Security and Security Industry Authority.
All our Specialist Security Response Teams are well presented in full Select Security Group uniform. They present a professional image and will always aim to be proactive, to prevent problems where possible but to also deal quickly with issues to stop them escalating. Our specialist security team will maintain a highly visible presence on your site until the threat has passed, proactively dealing with any illegal activity such as trespass or criminal damage and working very closely with local Police.
Undercover Staff
Where the threat is from groups of people, such as protestors, we can covertly place staff within the group, undertaking ground work in the run up to the event to gain the trust of the group. This is something widely used to combat drug dealing at Music Festivals and events. Security Officers for these positions are selected based on their personal experience and appearance, ensuring they blend seamlessly into the group from whom we are protecting your premises or staff.
Rapid Deployment Kits
To support specialist security Response Teams we can provide them with Rapid Deployment Kits including Temporary CCTV Systems, Headcams, Redweb Offender ID sprays and Vehicle restriction and removal equipment etc. In each case this will be tailored to the threat and agreed with the client in light of the overall problem and any known sensitivities.
Our Security Officers are trained in fully documenting incidents to evidential standards so that, where necessary, we can provide the police with evidence to support prosecution of those who break the law. We can also share intelligence with the Police to help prevent reccurrence.
